since you're asking about buttons and bags of salt, I'll say that you have a gold series,or ec4. press program enter until you see the "s" come up, looks like a 5. then the up button to the correct amount of bags in the brine tank, there's nunbers on the outside of the tank. Then program enter again to get the time back. Just remember that every time that you add salt, you need to reprogram the computer. It's probably beeping because you added salt and didn't tell it that you did.
