HOW DO WORK OVEN ON GLASS TOP ELECTRIC STOVE

"The house we got in Volcano has an electric stove with a glass (?) top and has no particular knobs for oven settings etc. And there is no instruction book. I'm guessing the stove dates back to the 80's

No. It's a Kenmore Classic and has a lot of push buttons. So I have started messing with them. I probably will get it figured out. Maybe.

Ah ha! Sensible advice. Why didn't I think of that?

If you can find the part number on it (it's usually on a lttle plate or sticker
prefixed by "P/N"), maybe there's some info on line.
