Hi am looking at having water treatment system installed at my home.
I was thinking of one of these.

I am mainly concerned about softening my hair and getting rid of water spots if its able to drink then that will be even better. Can anyone help?
as far as I know . the water softener that uses salt / pot-chloride to regenerate is the only one that softens the water. kdf removes heavy metals and chlorine and lifesource faq states that the"conditioned" water will still test hard. I believe that H2O man had some comments on another post about that.
