They are lame and it is in bad taste - well, I feel I grew up with him and although he did get freakish the last n years, I remember watching him when I was very young. They were a very talented family and he, in particular, was entertaining. I just feel very sad that anyone could be that tortured a soul to do what he's done to himself.
People make jokes about everyone else all the time and it doesn't bother me that they're doing it when he's dead; however, they're not funny jokes (to me) and I guess I'm just feeling sad for the way his life turned out so, no, I'm not laughing.
