No, I think it's stupid. I didn't notice any sexual connotations, though, until someone pointed it out. Even then, I don't really see it that way. It's not like she's sexy or anything.

A couple years ago when they were in a rather dire financial situation they moved from "appetizing" in their marketing towards edgy, humorous and viral.

They are doing this kind of thing so people post this kind of thread and give them free marketing, and it works fairly well. It's meant to appeal to young guys more so than any other demographic but their quirky and viral campaigns are some text-book cases for viral marketing.

She is very pretty, though. I think many men would find that image to be suggestive of fellatio what with the phallic sandwich and the pretty blonde looking willing, what with her mouth agape, if a little bit disconcerted about the act. Maybe a lot of women wouldn't see it that way, but the image is rather erotic.

This kind of shit makes me feel sick. Not because it's sexist. But because it really exposes the baseness of all marketing. That it's effective, I guess, exposes the baseness of our species. I would like to maintain the illusion that we are even slightly sophisticated.

Hardee's tried this a few years ago. Remember that chick riding a mechanical bull while pounding a burger? And the other chick trying to stuff as many fries into her mouth as possible?

Really, it's the innuendo that bothers me. I prefer honesty. Just come right out and say it--"Burger King: Because You Love to Suck Cock."

As to the sandwich it looks like crap. I usually like Burger King, this sandwich does not though work for me. That thing looks awful.
