Anyone interested in a Austin gathering in early September?

There is a beautiful kayak trail on the lake.. right in downtown.

Boat trips all over the place . Lots of good stand up comedy in town then too.

Great! Please keep tabs on the clubs on jazz/music/comedy and such so those of us interested can partake of these entertainment. Might recommend some good restaurants too! I still remember going to that one bar to watch the college football game with the outside screen in the early evening.

Austin is one of the few places in Texas that I've never visited. Don't know 'bout Sglass. In mid-June it's hard for me to make a definite commitment for early September, but tentatively, count us in.

There is a wonderful brunch restaurant that serves delicious italian black footed ham that I have been wanting to try out. I will make the trip before I head out to ny and report if it is as good as the reviews it has.

I would suggest live music, but that will not give too good of an opportunity for conversation, unless we find a small place where we can be far enough away to hear one another.

I pretty much got my dental work finished yesterday. Now waiting for my crowns to come back from the mainland. That's where all my $$$ has gone for the past year.
