In the Mapuche culture it worked for some centuries, it is thought.

Perhaps you haven't heard of the United States Constitution and the Bill of Rights, Walter?
Quote:You evidently do not know that the US is guided by its Constitution.
Article 1, Section 7. Clause 1--All bills for raising revenue shall originate in the House of Representatives. How are you going to tax millions of voters who keep thier representatives in their seats every two years if those representatives are supposed to vote for taxing Surplus Value?
Are you going to lead a revolution? Where is your Army? Do you wear a tinfoil hat?
taxpayers will be taken for $12 trillion in bailout cash for banks with only 6 percent of taxpayers approving. Voter power is an illusion.
Hold on, slow down. In an arnarchist government you need guns, big guns and I havent had time to buy mine yet.
So we now except the capitalist system as the only thing that works for us humans. But it doesn't work in the end.
Capitalism is suicide.
Growth for the sake of growth is the ideology of the cancer cell. (-Abbey, Edward)
It is a fact that capitalism must keep growing. The consumer must buy and the capitalist must make stuff FOREVER. Good, bad, right, wrong? doesn't matter. Whatever is at our disposal we turn into capital to the extent that that is all we see. Our relationship to EVERTHING is a potential means of capital.
Can we understand anything different? Is capital so much a part of our reality that the whole of our existence is overtaken by the concept of capital the we turn our souls and eco system into capital.
We have to stop growing capital like cancer. We will become unhuman and the earth will not be able to support life.
An evolution beyond capitalism which is if you think about it archaic. John Galt is a myth Madoff is the reality.
Exploitation (slavery)- to stay in buisinees and make more profit the capitalist must always find cheaper labor by any means possible and these means are terror, lies, bribes ,torture, subversion of democracy, etc, etc. Soon there will be more exploited the consumers. Capitalism will hit it's roof on cheap labor.
Exploiting people is bad. It's like satanism. Beetween cheap labor and democracy the capitalist will pick cheap labor every time and he will employ terrorist from the school of the Americas to over throw democracy. The capitalist does not beleive in freedom he only sees capital and he is either unhappy or psychotic because of it.
If you read Marx's theories on alienation, surplus value and fetishism (for material things)
You will see that the pursuit of happiness is impossible because it is defined by the capitalist (cultural hegemony) system which is driven by being exploited or exploiting (both man and nature). The exploited (slaves) are alienated from there true human nature. We Americans are ruduced to marketing subjects, to the extreme. We have been conditioned to pursue nothing but products.
I have studied Natural law, natural rights and unalienable rights. I am pursuing them and beleive we are tied together, that you can not exploit others and be or have a system where the pursuit of happiness can be achieved by all that work for it.
Ah yes, that magic word, "exploitation!" Is that the only word that political science professors in colleges and universities know anymore.
Speaking of being exploited, Obama is exploiting the whole country to further his own selfish ends.

We can all be so glad that you have studied Marx, do you want a medal or something? You have probably studied Mickey Mouse too?
