Broken PVC pipe in brine tank Model AQ 844 CT-8 (1999)

I found about 6 inches broken off the pvc tube in the brine tank (the tube has small slits in it and a plug in the end). I have no parts diagram with numbers for reordering parts. Can it be replaced? Will this cause a problem if not replaced immediately? Thanks for the reply.
