UNITED NATIONS — The U.N. Security Council approved tough new sanctions against North Korea Friday for its recent nuclear test.

The resolution imposes new sanctions on the reclusive communist nation's weapons exports and financial dealings, and allows inspections of suspect cargo in ports and on the high seas.

Somehow, I get the feeling we have been there and done that.

What country will sanction enforcement ultimately be left up to?

Ummm... China? No wait...... Japan ..... no.... maybe Russia???

AS usual, this is probably a waste and will only "inflame" N. Korea and increase the rhetoric coming from them. It may even cause them to do something that will cause a reaction by the US that we are not really ready to engage in or increase the flames.

Let N. Korea be. Speak softly and if they act, react quickly and with every weapon available.

Resolution 1874 doen't name any specific country.

Do you think, just one country will do so?
Japan or South Korea?

I am afraid that as a result of this action by the UN, N. Korea may "do it to themselves" my overreacting.
