We are looking to sell a packaged up (by a licensed RainSoft dealer) "RainSoft computerized Q2 valve water treatment system" that we bought in Aug. 1997, moved it with us from MO to GA in Jan. 1999 and have not opened/used since then. It has been in our storage room in the basement ever since Jan. 1999. We also have a reverse osmosis drinking water system, model 9596/9596N from the same time. Is it worth trying to sell these or are they obsolete? We only used it for 1 1/2 years, so it is practically new.

@PamLichten,

The Q is obsolete and has very little value. Also, the rubber parts have probably dry rotted by now necessitating service before start-up.
The RO may be something you could sell, but don't expect anything more than what the top of the line RO from LOWES sells for.
