Seems like something new (and bad) is happening all the time with WORD 2007. This time it's a Header and Footer problem. It is simply this: My Header lines and my Footer lines suddenly appeared (obviously I did something wrong) - and they have become pretty annoying. I would like to hide them, but can't figure out how.
Follow the same instructions I gave in one of your other topics to get to the Word 2007 Help articles. Once there, you'll note that one of the categories is "Headers and Footers." Click on it and see if the info you seek is there.
