My computer went absolutely nuts the other day. Somehow I ended up with a bunch of my drivers getting messed up. I have been able to find downloads for most of them but I am having the hardest time finding the Video Controller VGA Compatible Driver. I googled it and come up with tons of sites that supposedly have a free download of it but as of yet haven't been able to actually download one! Most of the links keep sending me to Microsoft and then I can't find the driver. Does anyone know of a link that will work so I can get this fixed? I really would appreciate any help.
It really depends on what hardware we are talking about here, but honestly your best bet is likely to force Windows to use a generic driver if you don't have any discs with the drivers (they usually come with the computer). Here's an article on how to do it:
