hehehe, jespah.
Actually as a result of this thread and his/her attempt at negative propaganda, we can learn of decent humanitarian efforts being made on behalf of the American public. Bravo!
You're right. It is Hillary..(not Billary). This is about aid to Pakistan. personally though, I don't understand why America needs to keep bailing out everyone.... especially, those that hate us. Our country is going down the toilet, businesses are closing, highest unemployment in 25 years and we have to bail out someone else! Charity begins at home, so stop helping out everyone else in the world. Keep the money here to help out Americans!
However, if we as individuals we want to contribute, then we should. As taxpayers, though..I'm not sure it's wise at this time.

""I think it is fair to say that our policy toward Pakistan over the last 30 years has been incoherent. I don't know any other word to use," she said. The secretary said that the Obama administration is pursuing a new approach toward the country that is "qualitatively different."
"The humanitarian relief is the right thing to do, no matter what the politics," she added.
Mrs. Clinton also unveiled a new text messaging campaign where Americans can text the word "SWAT" to the number 20222 to contribute $5 to the United Nations Humanitarian Council on Refugees. She said that she had just left the State Department, where they tried out the number and made their own donations, and encouraged the public to do the same.
"Just think, if a million people in the United States gave $5, that would be $5 million," she said.
Mrs. Clinton was also asked about her husband's new appointment to as the United Nations Special Envoy for Haiti. The secretary smiled and said, "I think Ban Ki-moon has chosen a high profile envoy to raise the visibility of the needs of the people of Haiti."
