a friend wanted an annulment and asked lawyer regarding this. the lawyer said she should prepare 150K- 180K pesos for the entire procedure and is not a 100% sure that the annulment will be granted to her. and asked if there is such a 100% sure and will limit the procedure in 6 months or less, the lawyer said yes and is 270K pesos and need to be paid in cash. so this friend of mine asked for a 2nd lawyer referred to her by a relative and the price is a lot cheaper, 180K pesos ( 3 gives)for max.of 6 months and is 100% sure that the annulment will be granted. question, how can she be sure that the lawyer is real and not bogus? in fact there is no private lawyer involved here, they said it is the fiscal and the judge who will process everything. help me explain to her if she has to go on with the annulment with this judge and fiscal. thanks

What country are you in? Every country has some sort of means of licensing lawyers, but we will need to know your country in order to be able to figure out where you should look for that information.

Can you find a free clinic somewhere?

An annulment should be able t be done very quickly, depending on how long was the marriage.
