I had played this game a while back, and got to where I could kill off the entire population of Earth in a very respectable time.

anyway, I thought it was cool.

My son and I played these games a couple of years ago.

These games are slightly educational in that they get you to think about what makes pandemics dangerous. Figuring out that increasing the time people could spread the disease before they died (i.e. making the disease work slowly) was strategically interesting.

plus, killing the entire population of the planet is cool.

As far as these games... they are novel, somewhat educational and intellectually amusing for a short time.

I don't see anything wrong with them.

There's a new version out, Pandemic II.

Just thought I would share this. Also, I'm considering a vacation in Madagascar....
