someone I know names his dogs the year he got them, so he remembers how old they are. So he had a 70 and a 72.

09 would be cool; Oh for short.

Rowsby Woof was the name of a black lab in "Watership Down," but he was a particularily stupid dog. Nice name though. Row pronounced as in "ow" not as in paddling.

We saw our little baby. He is so cute and his eyes were open. I was worried that the youngest was going to drop him - she just held him up and his was crying and squirming. My girls didn't want to let him go. But alas it will be month until he is old enough. We met the mommy and daddy - and they are really nice looking dogs so he should be handsome devil.

Once I download pictures I'll save some out here.

@kuvasz,
Oh, how sweet.

I have a picture or two, but I can't seem to be able to download the picture here.

We are hoping he is ready for us soon - my daughters are so excited they keep saying we are going to get him this weekend (as this is the estimated time) - I have to keep telling them he needs to go to the vet and get his clean bill of health and told he is ready to leave his mother first so it may not be the exact number of weeks we were told.

Name your dog Goddamnit. Then you won't need the intensifier when addressing your dog . . .

Goddamnit, sit down . . .

Goddamnit, stop clawing at the door . . .

Goddamnit, you've chewed up my shoes again . . .

You see, it will be very efficient.

Name him "Dammit" - it's a great name for a dog...and he more than likely will suit it. AND the kids will love calling him...though your neighbors may comeplain..."COME HERE DAMMIT". "DAMMIT STOP CHEWING THAT SHOE" - you see - it's a fun name!

Brilliant minds.....you think like me. HAHAHAHAHAHAHA...(I know - so not - but it made me laugh)

@Region Philbis,
thanks - I've learned something new. He is ready to leave mommy, but the current owners are busy with end of year school stuff so we have been unable to meet - and quite possibly until this weekend. Now we got a call and unfortunately may need to make a trip out west. We have a family member that isn't expected to live much longer of who my husband is their trustee so we may have to wait a week or more (I'd hate to go get him - have him stay with us a day or two and then have to have some one else take care of him or go to a kennel - enough stress already moving from one home to another).
