Hi Osso! What's your next surgery date; did I miss that?

In the meantime, I LOVE Firefox, though I'm a PC (Windows) user. I do think there's a MAC version, however. No ads, no annoying pop-ups, and of course, free beats all!

I don't like IE at all. In fact I've migrated away from all Microsoft products, using Open Office instead. Also free, and IMHO works just as well as the very-expensive MS Office suite of products. I actually have a version of MS Office on CD, and chose NOT to install it on my latest desktop!

I use the Ctrl-+ on the web rather a lot. Many web pages seem designed for people with MUCH better vision than me; cripes, how does Anyone read print that small?

And yes, Ctrl-- (minus sign) makes the print smaller again, should it get too large.

Probably in about a month.

The control + doesn't work for me, BK.

I had you penciled in for 8/25, osso. Has that been postponed?

Does the MAC Equivalent of Windows Control Panel have any options for enlarging web text? They Might, which would be Very Helpful.

Yes, as I described earlier, it has a view option to make text bigger or smaller. I don't know, though, if it has any other sort of giant enlargement option. Since I don't know what the Control + enlargement on pcs looks like, I don't know if they are equivalent. I can look this all up, just lazy.

This is osso posting as Dys. My hard drive went kaput, so I'm only checking in over at D & D's every few days. Takes me a while since I've trouble following the cursor on their machines - so I'll mostly just lurk. Posting here to say the eye surgery is delayed again, which I'll explain when I'm back to my own computer -not a big deal.

Oh my.

Thanks for telling us.

How prepared do you feel? Is there anything that we can do, research-wise or resource-wise?

Will be thinking of you. (What time December 8th?)

I'm usually cool with surgeries.. (famous last words).
I'll be the first patient, early a.m.
I'm fine on the resources, or will be.
I'm in an "I'll worry about this next week" phase. Will report after the pre-op.

since Osso is at the moment out shopping with the lady Diane I can take this opportunity to comment. Osso is a whiner "oh my eyes, I can't see" to which I usually reply "if you weren't from california and wore silly hats you could see just fine" she usually pouts and ignores my comments.
