When my younger son was about 2 yrs old, my sister gave him a stuffed mouse that fit perfectly in his little hand. He named the mouse Giddy and for the next two years he and Giddy were inseparable. And for the next two years, Ian would run around, Giddy in hand, saying "giddy giddy giddy giddy giddy!"

And now back to our regular programming.

It is about my weight loss and my experiences with a diet drug called alli, which is going on the market over the counter in Britain on Wednesday. ehBeth was very close to being right, and it was all I could do to not reveal all, but I didn't have a confirmation until just now.

It was set up through www.sparkpeople.com so yes, spark people was a hint. And so was-- djjd, you know I did this -- my posting Video Killed the Radio Star on Facebook.

I am actually going to work today but will just do a half day and catch the train from there. I'll stay with my in-laws and the show will get a car service to bring me 'round to the studio. It'll be live, so since they are 5 hours ahead of us and the show runs from their 6 AM to 9:30 AM, it'll be something like 1 AM. I think they'll get me earlier to brief me, do makeup and hair and whatnot. I'll be wearing a blue print wrap dress. I will have with me a large article of clothing from when I was heavy (it's a Red Sox jersey) and a picture of myself when I was really big. Don't know if they want the visual aids but I'll have 'em with me.

Congratulations, well done jespah. I won't be able to watch it from this side of the Globe but hope that some-one will record the interview and post it here.
