There's at least one exception, the Kir Royal (to get the red); instructions:
Get splash of creme de cassis and enough chilled champagne to fill a flute (yes, folks, this is all being copied from a book in English) then pour the splash of creme de cassis into flute, HOLD GLASS AT AN ANGLE, slowly add champagne.

The angle is necessary in order to preserve carbonation.
