Good news! The IRS will adjust your payments if you have back taxes and you have lost your job. For this year, file by April 15, then contact the IRS to discuss your options at 1-800 829-1040. For folks with Adjusted Gross Income more than $56,000, you can Free File Fillable Forms to file electronically for free. For lower-income folks, you can still get original Free File Program. We already filed our tax returns in February.
