I just want to say to everyone in Italy, and anyone who has friends or family there, that my prayers and thoughts are with you. I was so very sorry to hear about the earthquake there that claimed 150 lives.
I hope the survivors will get well soon, and wish them the very best for the future.

contacted my sister, who lives 5 hours north of L’Aquila -- she's fine, and didn't even know there was a quake yesterday...
