The Reps are in left field. Gingrich is considering a run for the presidency. I guess his platform will be the claim that he shut down the government because Clinton made him leave the rear of Air Force One.

True, the 'dems' have a majority in both houses, but they are not filibuster proof and they need enough republicans to support their bills if they want it pass. The 'dems' have a lot of "blue dog" democrats to mess up the works as well.

Did you hear Gingrich yesterday? He was saying that Obama's inaction on the North Korea's missile firing increased our danger. What he failed to mention is that Bush did nothing when North Korea fired a missile during his tenure even though Bush called them "evil."

Hypocrisy at its worse. And he's running for president? What a loser!
