A sedative solution has 10mg/ml of a drug. What volume of the sedative needs to be given to achieve a dose of 2mg/kg on an 18 pound dog

First, convert pounds to kg (2.2 lb/kg).

Next, multiply dog weight in kg by desired dose to get mg of sedative.

Finally, divide mg of sedative by solution strength to get volume of solution.

Hopefully it's not Methocarbamol. The vet perscribed this to my dog and we gave her one pill and it killed her the same exact day. We called the vet and she even said it was the pill that killed her. Just don't want anyone else to lose a pet they love.
