A2K Chess Game Test: Anyone vs. Anyone

Ok, so we have a new chess bbcode that lets us display a PGN viewer. Basically, it let's us setup and display a chess board, and playback the move history. To play each other, we have to quote the running chess notation and add our move to it (remove the quote tags, the board won't display in quotes). I don't have the time to dedicate to a game by myself right now, so I figured we could play with anyone who wants to make the next move able to do so. Just don't play both sides, so if you make a move with black you can't with white and vice versa.

Please use the preview tool before posting your move, to make sure your notation correctly displays the board. I'll start on white:

That was a pain, I kept moving the king instead of the knight. If anyone else needs help with the notation I found this useful:

Didn't see that. Followed Cyclo's previous move. I'm trying to get it to start on the last position, so I'll continue with whoever picks it up for a bit while I wrestle with the code.

Okay.

(You could play 2 simultaneous games. One with me. One with Cyclo.)

Sweet! I got it to start each widget on the last move. So I'm making this move and then going to try to get some real work done (so I'll be in to play as time permits).

Edit: I noticed that though some of the earlier moves worked with lowercase "n" for "N" it broke this last move, and some of the play back, so using the right case fixed it.

Well I started this one with an invitation for anyone to take a side and play it whenever they can, so I wanna stick with that. But I'd be happy to continue our game on another thread. Maybe we can get a general thread going as a chess room where multiple games can run.

I'd be quite interested in starting an A2K chess league.

Does that mean some kind of organized thing with rankings and schedules? I've played only one game in the last few years, so I'd be willing to give it a try but very ignorant about how it works.
