I read about this. Sorry, PDiddie. Alas, I'm already resigned to hearing about Greg Maddux winning his 300th next season in another uniform, as well as Gary Sheffield and Javy Lopez playing elsewhere.
But it's Maddux that really hurts. I know that he started with the Cubs (and won his first Cy Young with them), but for years I've enjoyed watching him pitch on TBS. He's not what he was, but still won 16 games last season, and at times looked on top of his game.
What a drag...
