copied 4 things off the TV - played back some of the first 3 just fine. Then I copied a 4th and after 45 minutes the recorder stopped and said "fail". It was just the right time anyway, so I tried to finalize it but it wouldn't and now it won't play any back. It looks like there's almost 1/4th inch left, but it just says invalid disk and won't open on either the DVD recorder/player or the computer with dvd shrink or just the Memorex dvd drive. Can I save my recordings?
You used a separate DVD R recorder without a hard drive to burn the discs to record the programs or the built-in DVD R recorder in your computer?
