Thanks Dutchy. Once I looked at the word and forgot about the clue it came to me in a snap. Sometimes I think too hard. My elderly friend, 80, also does the cryptics, which I can't do to sae my soul. Sudoku, love tem, but just can't wrap my mind around the crytics. Are you able to help out with those also?
