Hi all, I have a '96 Ford Taurus that is on it's last legs. It has 300 000 km on it, and is suffering from serious problems. We had overheating issues last summer, which a flush, new thermostat and continuous refill of coolant helped fix. It was only overheating on the highways, but now it has started overheating after only a few minutes of city driving. There is a leak but it seems impossible to find. Any suggestions?

Have an exhaust gas analysis test done on the cooling system.

You most likely have head gasket trouble if you are not seeing a leak and it overheats that fast.

That was my guess as well, Rockhead.
