why is it that everyone always says that it's the teenagers on the road who speed and cause accidents?? why is it that when i actually do see speeders on the road, they're adults or seniors?

Because teenagers have far more accidents than drivers any other age group. A 16 year old is 3.7 times more likely to have an accident than an adult. Looking at 16-19 year olds as a group... they are 2.7 times more likely to have an accidents.

Personally I don't think teenagers should be allowed to drive.

Its the "teenager" part of that statement that is more important. True, speeding has been proven to increase the damage done if there is an accident, but its the inexperience of teenage drivers that increases the chances of a teen causing damage.
