Here I want to know the differences between a microprocessor and a micro controller in electronics point of view. that is which one is more durable, types of micro processors and micro controllers. advantages of using the micro processor and micro controller etc., what are the top companies that are manufacturing this micro controllers and micro processor.

Microcontrollers tend to have their memory etc embedded and serve only specific purposes (allowing them to typically be less powerful) while microprocessors usually do not bundle the memory etc.
