Yeah, it was lunchtime when I had the pancakes.

Pancakes - they're not just for breakfast anymore.

Breakfast for dinner (or lunch) is really good -- we've had pancakes or eggs for dinner on a number of occasions. It's quick and easy and yummy, too.

My usual breakfast if diet Pepsi and a donut (or a piece of cake). Not very nutritional but filling and it holds me till lunch. This morning it was black out cake.

Good grief, bandylu, you're just dangerous! I couldn't have even imagined diet Pepsi and cake as a poll option. I thought chocolate biscuits were a risque option!

I had my usual...a big green salad with ranch dressing and black coffee...but I really don't like to eat until later in the day.

ehBeth and bandylu...
You'd be surprised how at many people I see drinking Coke and Pepsi in their cars as they are driving to work early in the mornings.

Those of us who prefer cold drinks need to get our caffeine somehow.

It's Saturday - so grilled bacon and buttered wholemeal toast. I like to get all my animal fats in one hit!

And a huge mug of tea. And then, a MAAANNNGGGGOOOOO!!!

Margo:

I love bacon. But, the days of bacon eating have gone by the wayside, due to relgious observance.

But, if I could just get a little smell of bacon, frying on the stove, I'd be soooooooooo happy! Razz

Staggering around, trying to figure out what's in the kitchen other than tea. There's got to be something. It looks like there's plenty of food, but it seems it's all really condiments!

New Haven- I have seen a product called "beef fry" that is supposed to taste like bacon. Have you ever tried that?

hmmmm - I've tried chicken bacon - the dogs and i and some of my guests liked it - Setanta was not impressed. Littlek's dad likes soy bacon.

None of them smell quite right, though. Walking through a Bob Evans parking lot will sure give you that good old smell of grease, if that's the craving.

I definitely like my coffee blacker.

Certainly am glad I haven't given up bacon for Lent or anything (more power to you, NH & D).

It is the best alarm clock in the world, makes teenagers love you if you've cooked it right, and leftovers make the dogs swoon.
