Tuesday morning: a tall glass of iced green tea, no sweetener/sugar; a peach I cut up into little pieces; and a container of vanilla yogurt spooned over the peach.

Very Summer.

I love croissants, though I don't indulge that often. They have to be eaten the same day they're made, at least I've always thought until this morning.

I thought I'd try to salvage Thursday's leftovers by toasting...and well, it was delicious! A little butter and honey and I feel like a princess.

Closer than you think.
Fresh mint tea.
How are you, on this rainy day, ehBeth?

'Tis.

And, while mine wasn’t blueberry honey, I did originally purchase it to serve with blueberries.

this cup <ahem> holds a lot of tea

Set's just been rampaging around looking for The Saxon Shore (part 4 of an Arthurian legends series) to settle down with in anticipation of the rain

Thinking of you this morning, Joeblow.

Just cuz.

ok, another kinda highly flavoured breakfast

1 hard-boiled egg, coarsely chopped - on soft cream cheese on pieces of baguette - a bitta salt - pieces of maple-smoked salmon on top

<my eyes are rolling back in my head, this is sooooo good>

another stein of Earl Grey tea with blueberry honey and milk

Re: ehBeth (Post 3409167)
softly poached eggs on a cheddar english muffin, side of maple-glazed smoked salmon with fat free sour cream. Double bergamot earl grey.

It sure felt decadent, though it was verging on healthy. Tomorrow I'll have the tomato that was s'posed to go with the egg this morning.

Roti-rol kip: authentic surinamese delicacy....or so the box claims (it's a frozen wrap thingy...my replacement for Amy's enchiladas)

Of course, "breakfast" was at noon.
