I did a web search and now know that most birds have one outlet but just a few do have two.

It's all done through a common duct, the cloaca, just the same as reptiles. Both these groups eliminate nitrogen in the insoluble form of uric acid, the white part of the crap. Eliminating nitrogen as uric acid greatly conserves water.
