this is a trivia question for a radio comp.... has me stumped
the clues are

1. Hallelujah (the play a sound clip of the Hallelujah Chorus)

2. Luke

They have clarified that the Hallelujah is not to be taken literally.

Have done quite a bit of research with Handel's Messiah, the Hallelujah Chorus, the Book of Luke in the Bible. Have thought of many answers, even to the point that 164 Paragraphs in Luke and Acts start with And.

It's not 164 passages of Bible text used for the words of the Messiah.

Not anything to do with the scrabble board, windows in the Westminster Abby. On the plus side have learnt heaps this week. Have been told I am close on the right track...to put my thinking cap on...... I think I have busted my thinking cap.

Ideas anyone, Please :-)

Hmm it would help knowing where/what the competition is? E. g. if it's Australian it may end up with different ways to interpret the clues than if you were in the US. Also, if you can tell us a question/answer you do know, we might be able to figure out how the writers are thinking.

It is an Australian show, on a radio station that plays the best of the 80's 90's and today. Is not a Christian radio station. The presenters names are Mal and Luke. I have googled, read the Book of Luke. Read and listened to the Messiah. Done online keyword searches for The Book of Luke.

Here are some of the wrong answers so far:

COUNTRIES
CURRENCIES
BEERS
LANGUAGES
DIMPLES ON A GOLF BALL
TILES ON A SCRABBLE BOARD
CHAPELS AND CHURCHES IN VATICAN CITY
WINDOWS IN WESTMINSTER ABBEY
PEACEMAKERS NOMINATED FOR THE 2008 NOBEL PEACE PRIZE
GOSPELS IN THE BIBLE
LANGUAGES THE BIBLE HAS BEEN TRANSLATED IN

The only thing I know for sure is the clues. Basically, it's a guessing game.

Hope this can help someone
