Glurge is a great word. However, I did get a little inspired by jes' link.

So, thank you both.

BMI is less kind right now (I'm up slightly), but I did give blood today and had wacky, interesting #s.

Pressure: 111/62. Pulse: 57.

I remain clinically mellow.

I'm slooowly slipping too. The weather is too tempting for ice cream.

A pulse of 57 is very impressive. I got mine from around 80 to the upper 60s -- but the fifties are still very far away.

She even got some blood sucked out today so she has a handicap and I stand a chance against her!

You're in New Jersey - you should be able to find some good sorbets or granitas. Learn to love the alternative (I'm working on it - oatmeal instead of a bagel).

Oh, I do love oatmeal. Sorbets have sugar, too. It's mostly the sugar that does me in.

I donated a pint, so didn't I lose a pound? A pint's a pound, the world around.

I should donate every Monday morning before getting on a scale. Long as I don't faint, it should count, right? Smile

You're winning. I'm not training enough, eating too much ice cream, and currently gaining weight. 222 lb, BMI=34.8

had some health issues after seeing a doctor for the first time in 30 years, high blood pressure, bad glucose readings, taking some low level meds and cutting out the crap (not really dieting per say), blood pressure on track, glucose good and down 17 pounds since june 26 (first doctor appointment)

current BMI 31.1

Still gaining. 225 lb today, for a BMI that I don't want my pocket calculator to calculate. It's a tiny pocket calculator, and my BMI would be too heavy for it. And what's worse, I have no excuse, not even a lame one. I think I'll go to McDonalds now, have a big hamburger with fries and beer, and pity myself.
