Well, what do ya'll think about that? Is this the right decision for both domestic and international policy? I wonder.

Obama backs Bush policy on detainees' rights
WASHINGTON (AP) — President Obama sided with the Bush administration Friday, saying detainees in Afghanistan have no constitutional rights.

Like it or not, it's a correct statement about the US constitution. Foreigners detained in foreign countries have human rights, enshrined in the UN's Universal Declaration of Human Rights. They have rights as prisoners of war under the Geneva convention. But the US Constitution doesn't apply to them. This is not a Bush thing or an Obama thing, it's just how it is.
