Against a darkened sky
with the wisps of clouds
Floating by

when suddenly the moon
So full and delicious
Appears in its splendor
Cold and auspicious

The mirror of the water
Beneath the light beams
Reaching up with the mist
With fingers that gleam

Good afternoon, letty. That poem certainly captures the scene very well. I have to get offline just now to take my wife to a follow up appointmant. Will revisite this thread later.

Thanks, Urs and edgar. My Lord, I had forgotten those valuable/not valuable ratings on Abuzz.

The poem was inspired by the full moon appearing behind whispy dark clouds as it set over the intercoastal waterway. I have never seen a more haunting sight.
