I started a 99 cadillac deville after it sat for 2 mths. after ten seconds of running it started smoke began to rise out of the motor and continued to do so till the car was turned off. What could this be from?

How did it smell. Electrical, maybe like burning oil, squirrel, or what? With luck, it was just an oil leak that managed to get onto a hot exhaust manifold. Squirrels don't usually heat up that quick.

exahust gas leaking from the manifold?

I doubt its anything burning from the heat of the engine. 10 seconds is not long enough for the engine to heat up sufficiently.

A cold start could see unburnt combustion gasses leaking though.

OK...was it smoke or steam, perhaps?

After 2 mos?

Might just be condensation evaporating off the exhaust manifold.
