Seriously, French is pretty complex. It's like a whole other language! But, all kidding aside, there are male and female nouns, verbal conjugations you really don't see in English because we have a lot of merged words (we only have two present tense forms of the verb "to walk": walk and walks. The French have five: marche,marches,marchez,marchons,marchent) and the pronunciations are different. Spelling has rules that differ from English as well.
