When you are so sick, you are laying on the couch drowning in your own boogers, there is nothing more entertaining then a2k. Laughing

Drama. Sex jokes. Odd people. Rhyme threads. Flash games.

I cant say that I have spent this much time on a2k in a long time.

Though I should really be cleaning my house.
I have a pile pf laundry so big, it is falling out of my basket. My bed room looks like a fag fight in a fabric store.

It can be fun when you are trapped inside for one reason or another.

Can't play golf...snow covers the ground...go make somebody miserable on A2K!

Switch laundry out. Come back to A2K.
Turn broth on. Come back to A2K.
Feed pets/children. Come back to A2K.
Switch laundry out. Come back to A2K.
Finish laundry. Leave house unless there is a foot or more of snow at the end of the driveway.

i basically stopped buying comic books about twenty years ago, since then it's been graphic novels

i've been sorting out crap lately and deciding what to keep and what to get rid of, i have some comic book story lines i don't want to part with

Most of mine are 70's comics. Nothing too fancy.
Fat freddy , other freak brothers, carrot comics.. etc.

Cerebus is good. I have a lot of those.

a thousand years ago (before the internet) I always did laundry on Sunday mornings as students and drunks don't get up early on Sundays - could always get ALL of the machines to myself

for some reason, I can't give up Sunday morning laundry, and A2K is perfectly designed for laundry intermezzos

a lot of mainstream stuff from the 80's, plus some off beat, someday i'm gonna get the collected works of cerebus, it's a wonderful series

i was a reader not a collector, so even the stuff that might have been worth anything is pretty well manhandled

i was a big, batman, superman, spider man, x men, justice league fan

Im not a collector for keepsake either.
If I buy it, Im going to read it.

Never did get into Marvel though.. You would not know that by looking at the ones I have though. I bought them on a whim.. thinking ' one day it might be worth---!!"

Now they are fun for reading, letting Jillian play with them, copying art work from..e tc.

I do that now with the laundry mat down the street.
My blankets and rugs are done in about 45 minutes at 7 am.
I pack my coffee... and newspaper or book and sit quietly.
The place is clean ( cleaning crew at night) quiet, and empty.

There are 2 other people who do the same as I do, almost every sunday morning I am there.

I love it best when a new poster comes in and totally disrupts the whole community with whatever they're doing. That's the best.
