I may be offline, but my heart's still here

This morning, I was on the bus, thinking about the fact that I really could've used more sleep, wondering about the overly cheery gal who says "Good Morning" every day, and dreaming my little dreamy dreams. And then I spotted the poster. It was unassuming, right where things like community Christmas pageants and whatnot are advertised, or I'm told to mind the gap or offer my seat to someone with physical challenges.

No, it wasn't any of those. It was this. And of course the last thing I thought of was soccer. I thought of all of you. And I also wondered if the channel was purely Canadian, with a touch of Ohio, and whether there were any history debates between announcers. Perhaps there'd be a cooking show about sammiches, an exercise program of belly dancing and a soap opera: As the Shabeen Turns.

So I got to thinkin' -- and you know that's always trouble and I should stop it already -- have you had these moments, while you're offline and doing whatever, where something wholly unrelated to A2K just snaps you right back here?

Do tell. And bring pictures. And sammiches, 'cause the dog's hungry.
