I'm sorry for you and for your son but six years should give him plenty of time to get sober.

All a very sad way to start the new year. Your son has made some bad decisions and perhaps this is his best chance to save himself. I hope he is in a location with a good treatment program and one that will help him get his life back on track. I'm sure you are doing everything possible to help him recover.
