Hi everyone. I am so pleased with myself that I have ALMOST managed to finish this months cryptic crossword all except for one clue which is a three letter word, N?S and the clue says Harry the Horse. Any ideas crossworders?

Hi verso, NAG is the answer, I would think (as in hassled and harried). I'm sure someone will confirm. What clue yielded the "s"? Merry Christmas!

Hi Verso My suggestion is "NAG". A nag is a horse, and you can also 'harry" and 'nag' somebody, both words being synonyms. Are you certain your 's' is correct? Sorry Lmur...

many thanks you are right of course - I realise my 2d where I had swordfishes could possibly and more likely to be swordfights

Sorry Lmur hadn't seen your post but we seem to think the same answer.
