Bullion Cubes vs. Granules

I have a recipe that calls for chicken granules. Don't know why I'm having a tough time finding them. However, I have two containers of chicken bullion cubes. I could grind them in my food processor. Can I substitute the finely ground cubes? The recipe calls for 1/4 C granules.
