you have two identical paths before you. one leads you to your goal and the other to certain doom. there is a guardian at each gate you are informed that one always tells the truth while the other one lies, you can ask them only one question to get your way down that path towards your goal what do you ask and whish gate guardian do you ask it to
It doesn't matter which guardian you ask. Ask one of the guardians what path the other guardian would take, then take the opposite path.
The guardian who said that one always lies, yet one always tells the truth. You know that that must be true, so you ask him whioch way do you go.
