Well, well...here's the irony.

Because I lost my damn mobile, I am now awaiting the delivery of my iphone.

It's Robert's fault.

Of course, because they are so popular, and it is christmas/new year when Australia kinda shuts down, and because I am going away, I cannot get it until I return to work on the 12th.

Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.....

Have phone!

After much silly fumbling on the part of the phone company re delivery.

Just managed to download some music from itunes!!!

It only downloaded one song from one of the albums I have there...why I cannot imagine! But the rest are here.....oh my.

Ha! Here's irony!

After initially running the thing down, then buying it....it became my only home internet access when my computer was kaput for a couple of weeks!

There I was, poring over the iPhone to get news and such.

Try downloading some Apps. Those are fun Smile Podcasts are also very interesting.

You can also buy a little gadget for your car so that the iPhone will play through your radio (so you don't need headphones).

Oh, I HAVE downloaded a number of apps...and music.

I doubt my car, which was born in 1992, has a place for such a gadget?

They make ones that broadcast on a radio frequency. They work all right (not great) in areas where there isn't a lot of broadcasting, but can be pretty near useless in a city.

Unless your car's got a tape deck, in which case you can get one that goes into the cassette slot and works pretty damn well.

Ah...I am in the middle of a city. Also, when I am in the car, I prefer to get my news and news analysis and science etc info there, from our Radio National.

My favourite app. (though I am proving hopeless at it) is Enigmo...though I just saw spore is there.

Not REALLY usable.

It won't open links and such.

And the writing is very small.

But, for news and such, it is ok.

IF you can get a connection.

Yes...you steered me right...I kind of enjoy the games a bit (I now have Spore, which my computer cannot handle...)
