Terrible.

I think that advertisers often get caught up in "clever" and don't really think about the message they're sending.

ads like this make me thankful for PR people who have a good sense of humor..

or they DO.. and that is what makes it so funny.

I imagine the father with a 5 year old at home.. giggling to himself because he made a public poop joke.. and cant wait to show his kid.

i would rather not think that the world has been so dumbed down that no one notices the pile of heaping shit under the turkey

This reminds me of a very "clever" ad that we put together for April Fool's day when I worked in advertising.

It was hilarous -- full of insider humor. In the fine print it even said "happy April fool's day" amongst many other insulting side notes.

But one client didn't read it and they ran it in the paper.

And the shit hit the fan and then some.

And then some more.

We learned our lesson.
