You just have that American exaggeration thing. In England a manager runs a tight ship. You lot have to "kick ass". Same with big hats. You have this thing about having to be the goldarnest meanest whatever that ever lived.

It's an image thing. You should check out some Harold Pinter stuff or Jean Genet. See what wierd is really like. Salvadore Dali-- he was wierd. He had that Gala in tow. She was really wierd.

Unfortunately we, as a society, are moving away from the principles of risk and reward and towards entitlement and contentment with a safe, basic (base) existence.

It is a road to ruin, and yet so many seem to want to, blabberingly, follow it; all the while enjoying the benefits of a market driven economy.
