That's what NASA's been saying all along. Now they're in a race to see if they can get there for a closer look at all the rocks before the Japanese, Chinese, or Indians do.

Too bad that the Old MAn of the Mountain crashed . I believe that gunga is buying into the past civilizations on Mars hypothesis.

The Martian 'holes' are actually the most interesting. I read there are seven of them and they are the size of football fields. They are so deep that sunlight can't reach the bottom. Scientists speculate these holes may be homes for life!

If there's any life beyond microbes on Mars it will be underground or in that big trench which is the Martian equivalent of the Grand Canyon.
