@FBM,
You rock!⊂((・▽・))⊃ I knew 2 cubed was 8 and pie came from pi. The other parts alluded me. The square root, I thought was an imaginary number but I forgot about the i symbol.

@tsarstepan,
http://i206.photobucket.com/albums/bb192/DinahFyre/tiphat.gif That's probably the first time that I've ever used what I learned in those calculus classes. Or, what little I recall from those calculus classes. (Meaning the sigma.)

I got it straight away. One fifth is 0.2, point two, which sounds a bit like pontoon which represents all gambling. Two fifths is 0.4, point four, which sounds a bit like Ponn Farr the Vulcan violent blood fever which makes you angry (red fifth) and sad (blue fifth).

It's about the horrors of gambling as typified in Dr. Seuss' little known, unpublished, and just made up.

The cat in the hat felt like a prat when he took on the mob and got a twat with a bat.

British rhyming slang eludes me, or it looks a lot like the way Batman would solve The Riddler's riddle clues in the TV show.

@hingehead,
What I particularly like about this is the transcriber thinks they say 'mangoust' - not mongoose. Mangoust is actually poorly spelt French for mongoose http://fr.wikipedia.org/wiki/Herpestidae.

So some French speaker thought and an Indian shading some Americans was funny and hoist-petards himself.

@fbaezer,
It's kind of sad that this is turning into an age-specific gag. Until Adam West becomes a youth icon again, anyway.

@chai2,
Stormtroopers never hit anything. Classic SF trope. Up there with star trek's new crew with red shirts will die.

As HH, already answered. Stormtroopers are some of the worst shots in fictional uniform. The only groups worse then the Stormtroopers? GI Joe and Cobra. Millions of shots fired. Many planes and tanks blown up. Literally no casualties from their years of back and forth warring.

@tsarstepan,
What about people shooting at the A team, and come to think of it, the A team themselves?
